My Heart Feels Heavy,
My Eyes Swollen,
My Face Soaked,
The Taste of Salt on My Tongue
“She’s gone, my best friend is really gone” races through my mind as if there’s no end.
I start to look back at all the things we’ve done and all the time that we spent together
But nothing eases this horrible feeling in which we know as “pain”,
Such an awful tragic and yet only few can comprehend this numbness,
Many try to understand but they will never really know
It’s a never-ending feeling that feels as if a needle were poking at my heart
It shouldn’t have been her time we all weren’t ready to part
I want to go back in time; I want to see her one last time
I want to tell her everything I didn’t say,
I want to see her till this very day,
I want to warn her to just stay,
I didn’t want to see her that way
All of the memories we had,
None of it was ever bad,
Out of all the people that could have went,
We still had so much time and yet none of it was spent,
Why did she have to go?
Oh how we all just loved her so,
It was such a beautiful day,
I didn’t want it to end that way,
I couldn’t leave her all alone
So cold and lonely but no one was home
Her body seemed so fake,
I was waiting for someone to call off the joke,
I was waiting for them to bring out a cake,
No one spoke,
It was no joke,
My best friend left this earth,
Her momma still remembering her birth,
It seemed so unreal,
I couldn’t believe she left until,
They laid her body down,
Everyone leaving with a frown,
My Heart Feels Heavy,

Hey CC! I miss you so much! I was just thinking about some memories of you the other day and I remembered a pretty funny one! One day in PE last year me, megan, lacy, and courtney were messing around during flag football. It had rained the day before so the field was super slick and muddy. We decided that we were ging to go muddin! So we would take off running and slide into the huge mudpuddles. We would biff it so hard and just start cracking up! By the time PE was done we were so soaked that we had to hang all our clothes up to dry! It was so fun though, and I will never forget that memory! I miss Courntey so much and miss her smile everyday at school. Especially at science when we all have water  and paper towel fights with the boys! Well I can't wait to see you again Courtney!     First of all your are amazing! And so missed you honestly would have no idea. You have already done so much for me. I have pretty much decided that i am going to go into medicene and the first person i save it will be all for you and i want you to always know that you are the one that pushed me to where i want to be. Also i wanted to tell you how good of a friend you were. Me and you had that relationship that we talked and we  were good friends and i'm soooo sorry for not keeping that up with you. But one thing i am glad about is that you and Megan had each other you were always so loyal and never didn't have a smile on your face. My best memory of you was always writing notes in English. I don't know how i would have gotten through that class without you. CC this has been really hard for me to even comprehend. I mean why was is you that day, and this is still don't get. I want you to know that you have touched so many lives. But mine in a profond way, some days your all that keeps me going. Take it day by day and always remember to live, love and laugh! OMG its so tragic I guess its stuff like that our school board is so afraid of...so sorry this happened to you courtney...& to your friends for having to witness it...God Bless your family it must be so hard...Anyway we have young angels in Heaven they will take good care of you til your family chain links again. Courtney I miss you  / Amanda Neiges (Friend)
I remember the day before the float we were all in the school getting things ready for the next day. After that Colby, Ali, Courtney, Megan & I all went to Hunger Buster to get lunch. After that we went to the Powder Puff Football game and we were just having fun and then Colby told me to sprint down the football field and kick a cone. It was really random but I did it Courtney was filming it on my camera and it was soo funny. I always remember Courtney laughing so hard at that. I always remember Courtney smiling. There was another time in English class when Mrs. Varney always had the fan on and it was right next to her desk, the fan would blow everything off her desk and I remember her smiling the whole intire time even though it was annoying to have a fan blowing on you for and hour. 

I miss Courtney's smile and laugh and I too hape to see her again sometime. Close
